About Us
Verdant was founded on the belief, and with evidence, that traditional educational settings often leave a gap between student success and wellbeing.

When students feel well, they learn with purpose. The same is true for their teachers. By centering personal wellbeing, we help learners find meaning in their education as well as academic success. Drawing on international experience and research, we understand that thriving learners are those who develop resilience, self-awareness, and a sense of purpose.

While many schools focus mainly on measurable outcomes, they may overlook the skills and qualities students need for the future, including:

-
Critical thinking and ethical decision-making
-
Emotional wellbeing and civic engagement
-
Equity of access and inclusive enrichment
-
Meaningful use of technology to support higher-order thinking

At Verdant, we strive to bridge this gap. We guide students and families through key academic transitions, while also working closely with educators, and partner organisations to create supportive, student-centred environments. Our model is grounded in human connection and innovation, combining traditional and unconventional methods, data-informed planning, and social-emotional learning. The proven result: learners who are not only successful, but balanced, confident, and prepared to thrive in a diverse and evolving world.
Our Vision
At Verdant, our mission is to make high-quality, holistic education accessible to every learner. We support students and families with expert guidance through school placements, university applications, tutoring, and wellbeing, while also working with educators and partners to build inclusive, student-centred learning environments.
Every family that invests in Verdant also helps under-resourced learners locally and globally, advancing UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: inclusive, equitable, quality education for all. In this way, education becomes not just a personal journey, but a shared responsibility, future generations to thrive in a diverse and evolving world.

Our story
Verdant was co-founded by Christopher Clyde Green (BA RHUL, MEd Cantab., Grad Dip. Harvard), a highly-experienced international educator who has worked in some of the world’s leading schools including Ecolint, Le Rosey, and Mill Hill. As an IB lead educator and US IECA member/British Council Counsellor for schools and universities, Christopher combines academic expertise with training in mental health support and safeguarding. His leadership experience, including service as a trustee of the Central YMCA, reflects Verdant’s ethos: education should balance academic achievement with wellbeing, purpose, and equity.

Together with a team of dedicated mentors, Verdant delivers tutoring, enrichment programmes, pathway guidance, and tailored mentoring both in-person and online. Our work blends innovation with tradition, ensuring that every learner has access to the skills, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
