Verdant is a consultancy that serves as a bridge between the learner, the world and educational institutions. Together, we aim to provide an enrichment curriculum, that supports learners in addressing elements that need nurturing in typical school structures. Together we strive to provide access to a high-quality education to all.

Our Mission

We are here to provide inclusive, personal support to students customised to their specific contexts and needs. By providing more attention to these aspects students will become more engaged and find meaning in their learning.

 

While traditional schools often provide strong academic foundations, they can seem fixated on grades. This approach can affect a learner's preparedness for life and wellbeing. In these environments students often lack structured opportunities to:

  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Engage with topics like sustainability, digital literacy, and global citizenship.

  • Prepare for leadership and active participation in civic life.

  • Access these opportunities equitably, regardless of socioeconomic background.

With our focus on enrichment and social-emotional learning and wellbeing, we are here to develop well-rounded individuals, who will ultimately flourish beyond school. Research and experience proves that to help aspirational and gifted learners access some of the world's most reputable educational institutions they need to learn to be people first before numbers (or letters) on a page.

Therefore we use a combination of expertise, unconventional and traditional practices, metrics and technology to encourage success. We have a proven track record of over a decade of supporting learners to fulfil their potential.​

Our Vision

To foster a generation of skilled, thoughtful, and engaged learners by providing accessible, high-quality learning experiences that prioritise:
 

  • Critical Thinking Skills: Encouraging students to ask the "why" behind what they learn. Ultimately providing them essential skills such as collaborative problem-solving.

  • Civic Engagement and Global Citizenship: Instilling responsibility and an understanding of global challenges.

  • Emotional Intelligence and Wellbeing: Promoting resilience, empathy, and mental health awareness.


Education is a not a privilege, it is for everyone. We envision an educational landscape where merit is rewarded and educational success is not limited to the privileged few.  When you join our community and benefit from our services, a portion of your contribution to our services will go towards promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Education For All) in a local and global context.

When families invest in their child's education, they will also be helping others. A portion of every service fee on Verdant helps supports for students from under-resourced, or under-privileged backgrounds locally and globally.

Our story

"Verdant" is co-founded by Christopher Green (BA RHUL, MEd Cantab. Grad Dip. Harvard). Verdant operates under two functions: as a consultancy and as an association.

At "Verdant", a dedicated team of educational experts (known as mentors) are committed to shaping the futures of hundreds of students. Our bespoke services ensure that students are equipped for success. "Verdant" offers an enrichment curriculum, usually restricted to elitist groups, using egalitarian methods such as our digital micro school and complimentary lectures and workshop. We strive to make quality education to all, empowering all learners to reach their full potential.
